LEVERAGE Card Services offers the latest payment platforms and technology on a national scale, along with comprehensive value-added services and personal support on a local level. LEVERAGE Card Services is committed to delivering the debit, credit, chargeback, gift card, and ATM solutions credit union's need to increase their market footprint, expand their card program, and inspire loyalty with their members.

Who we are looking for:

A motivated and driven individual who will serve as the product and process expert for Card Services.  Our new Portfolio Consultant will grow new and maintain existing portfolios; work with Business Development Consultants on new sales, and proactively consult with existing customers, finding ways for them to innovate and grow their portfolios.

 What you'll take ownership of:

  • Providing proactive, consultative support to existing clients, helping to grow and innovate their debit/credit portfolios.
  • Acting as both a process expert and sales consultant for all new and existing payments clients.
  • Maintaining open communication with existing clients; identifying gaps in our sales and service process and proposing solutions.
  • Working with Director of consultative services to provide responses to RFP's.
  • Supporting transition of new clients from Sales by participating in all new client onboarding
  • Partnering with the Business Development Consultants (BDCs), growing payments business and expanding LSCU footprint.
  • Partnering with strategic Account Manager to provide ongoing feedback for existing and prospective new clients
  • Meeting with clients face-to-face twice a year.

 Need to haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5-7 years of payments related experience.
  • Knowledge of financial industry trends, technology, products and services
  • Ability to work effectively in a Microsoft Office environment, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communications skills.
  • Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Able to represent the organization in a professional manner to internal and external audiences.
  • Initiative, good judgment be resourceful, and dependable.
  • Able to make independent administrative decisions and deal with multi-faceted problems or situations.

 Love to haves:

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year institution in marketing, business, finance, management, or other suitable degree preferred.
  • PMP certification a plus.
  • Successful track record in consultative sales is preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of history, development, and philosophy of credit union movement.


  • Frequent travel.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Airline travel required.
